Fall prevention is basically as the population and Baby Boomers are getting older, what’s happening is that they are becoming less steady on their feet. They are having more instability and difficulty walking around. Basically, what we implement is a program in our office to help prevent the elderly and seniors from falling and prevent any further injury that can occur and that could be debilitating to them.

We have physical therapy we can implement, in terms of stretching and range of motion exercises, and also strengthening exercises. There are also some devices that we can implement that are custom-made for you that are extremely light weight and can be very easy to put on, which can help you and can give you peace of mind from falling and possibly injuring other parts of your body including your hip and other fractures that can occur.
